About the Role
Emerging IT is seeking an experienced and independent-minded Level 3 Service Desk Technician to join our Melbourne team. If you enjoy solving IT challenges, mentoring others, and supporting a variety of clients, this role is for you.
Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year
What You'll Do
- Provide advanced support for escalated Service Desk tickets across hardware, software, cloud, and networking issues
- Assist and mentor Level 1/2 technicians within the team
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in Microsoft, virtualisation, and network environments
- Follow operational processes, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and meet service delivery KPIs
- Participate in ongoing professional development and skills growth
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years' experience in IT/MSP support environments
- Relevant qualifications or certifications (MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, ITIL4, Azure Engineer/Architect, etc.)
- Strong skills in:
- Microsoft: Server, SQL, Active Directory, O365, Azure
- Virtualisation: VMWare, Hyper-V
- Networking: Cisco, Meraki, Aruba (support/administration level)
- Excellent organisational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently, collaborate within a team, and communicate effectively
