We’re looking for a Technical Specialist/365 Administrator to join our diverse, talented and innovative digital technology team who together are helping our customers and communities build a better future. Together, we design, build and maintain products, services and experiences that Australian's love and trust, while delivering a sustainable future for Australia Post, and you could be part of that.

What you’ll deliver with us

A hands-on technical role contributing to delivering and operating Microsoft 365 and Power Platform services for Australia Post. You’ll ensure these services meet agreed business demands and our strict quality standards. Services provided need to deliver business value in a cost effective and timely manner. You will be part of a high-performing team, collaborating at all levels of our enterprise, across technical and business teams. You will be working on governance of the platform itself, providing consultancy to the business. This person is not writing solutions or developing the applications.

Our Technical specialists collaborate with engineers, product owners, and business analysts to deliver solutions. They also engage with internal support teams to resolve issues and implement improvements. This involves liaising with vendors or partners on technical integration or support issues. You will have a customer focussed mindset, with strong communication skills, as well as a curious personality as there are always opportunities to learn in the world of Australia Post!

You’ll also

  • Provide advanced level Microsoft 365 and Power Platform support covering both end-user issues and business critical solutions.

  • Promote efficient use of M365 and Power Platform resources to ensure adherence to licencing requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues within service agreements to minimise disruption to business operations.

You’ll also need

  • Proven experience in providing 3rd level advanced support of Microsoft 365 and Power Platform technologies within an enterprise. If you’ve worked as a 365 Administrator or Workplace Platforms Specialist that is great.
  • Background of working across many levels of an enterprise from end-user issues, though to assisting with critical business solutions.
  • M365 administration (SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Exchange, Teams), MTR devices, PowerShell scripting, Defender for Office 365, Power Platform Administration, Microsoft Purview and Co-Pilot skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholder.
  • Understanding of digital transformation in large, regulated organisations
