Help us deliver a better tomorrow

Australia Post is delivering for all Australians. From the vehicles that we drive, to the small businesses that make our communities thrive. We’re delivering for the environment, for our communities, for our customers and for our people. We’re moving forward and we want you to come along for the ride.

Help us deliver like never before

We’re hiring for a Network Designer. Reporting to the Manager, Infrastructure Design and Delivery, you’ll help deliver Australia Post’s Enterprise Enablement network and infrastructure programs by designing, documenting, implementing and optimising secure, scalable and high‑performance solutions across our corporate, retail and logistics environments. In this critical role, you’ll set and champion network design standards and best practices, ensuring every solution is aligned to enterprise architecture and enables efficient service delivery. You’ll collaborate across strategic initiatives, including ALM, our cyber security uplift, and the SASE rollout, to create resilient, future‑ready network designs that power the services millions of Australians rely on every day.

This is a unique opportunity to shape national‑scale network designs, embed best‑practice standards, and partner across strategic initiatives.

What you’ll deliver with us

  • Design and document network solutions for new and existing infrastructure, cloud and security projects.
  • Participate and lead network changes in the CAB and TRA

You’re a seasoned network design expert with hands-on experience across Cisco, Palo Alto, Meraki and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS and GCP. You understand MAC binding, VLANs, IP routing and network segmentation, and can design resilient, high-availability solutions for complex enterprise environments. Comfortable working autonomously, you build strong relationships, influence stakeholders and apply best-practice architecture standards to deliver secure, scalable networks.
