Senior Analyst Programmer (.NET) – Sydney / Hybrid

A well-established Australian organisation is seeking a Senior Analyst Programmer to join a collaborative and high-performing technology team delivering critical business systems and digital solutions.

This is a hands-on senior development role suited to someone who enjoys working across both web and enterprise applications while contributing to solution design, delivery quality, and continuous improvement.

The Role

You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications while supporting ongoing system improvements and project initiatives across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing scalable .NET web and enterprise applications
  • Participating in full software development lifecycle activities
  • Delivering high-quality, well-tested solutions within agreed timeframes
  • Producing and maintaining technical and architecture documentation
  • Troubleshooting and resolving application and system issues
  • Performance tuning applications and SQL Server databases
  • Supporting deployments and implementation planning
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Contributing to development standards, testing practices, and continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial experience with .NET Framework / .NET Core
  • Experience with ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Web API
  • Solid front-end skills including JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax
  • Strong SQL skills with SQL Server and T-SQL
  • Experience with Entity Framework and API integration
  • Experience with unit testing and dependency injection
  • Experience with Azure DevOps and Azure cloud services
  • Experience with WinForms or enterprise desktop applications
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Agile delivery experience
  • Experience with React or modern front-end frameworks
