About the Role

Our client is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to help shape high-quality, enterprise-wide data models and analytics.

Working within Data Engineering Services and the Advanced Analytics & AI Capability, this role focuses on designing sustainable data models, delivering trusted analytics in Databricks, and building Power BI reporting that supports better decision-making across the University.

This role is not data-migration focused. Instead, it's suited to someone who enjoys solving complex data problems, applying strong modelling judgement, and working closely with technical and business stakeholders.

What You'll Do

• Design and document enterprise-ready data models aligned to business needs
• Build analytics solutions using Python, SQL, Databricks, and Lakehouse (Spark/Delta) architectures
• Develop Power BI reports and apps that clearly communicate insights
• Contribute to modelling standards, reusable analytics logic, and data quality practices
• Work collaboratively within an Agile delivery environment, partnering with analytics and engineering teams

What You'll Bring

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, Python, SQL, and Power BI
• Demonstrated capability in data modelling and curated dataset design
• Experience with data profiling, validation, and enterprise data governance
• Clear communication skills and confidence working with a broad stakeholder group
