Senior Project Manager – Industrial Relations & Payroll Remediation

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a high-profile Industrial Relations (IR) and Payroll Remediation program. This role is responsible for driving delivery across multiple workstreams, stabilising payroll outcomes, and embedding sustainable processes and behaviours across the organisation.
This is a hands-on delivery role suited to a structured, pragmatic project manager who can operate confidently in complex workforce, payroll, and compliance environments.
About the Role
You will take ownership of a $6M remediation program focused on IR compliance, payroll accuracy, and workforce process uplift. Working closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, Technology, and senior leaders, you will bring clarity, discipline, and momentum to a program with high organisational visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver a multi-stream IR and payroll remediation program
- Implement strong project structure, governance, and delivery methodology
- Identify and fix process gaps and behavioural issues impacting payroll and compliance outcomes
- Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies across concurrent workstreams
- Provide clear, executive-level reporting and insights on progress, risks, and outcomes
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, unions, vendors, and internal teams
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering Industrial Relations, payroll remediation, or workforce compliance programs
- Strong end-to-end project management capability across complex initiatives
- Experience managing multiple workstreams within large, regulated environments
- Demonstrated ability to stabilise operations, improve processes, and embed sustainable change
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience with payroll and workforce systems
Highly Desirable
- Experience with Dayforce payroll and workforce management systems
