We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale technology and infrastructure initiatives within a fast-paced distribution centre environment in Melbourne's western suburbs. This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone who thrives on-site, working closely with operations, engineering teams, and vendors to implement cutting-edge warehouse and automation solutions. Initially, this role requires 5 days per week on-site within one of our key distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of supply chain and warehouse technology projects
  • Manage implementation of hardware infrastructure, automation, and robotics systems
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across operations, IT, engineering, and external vendors
  • Oversee vendor selection, negotiation, and performance management
  • Drive project governance, risk management, budgeting, and reporting
  • Ensure seamless integration of automation and robotics into live warehouse environments
  • Maintain strong stakeholder engagement at senior leadership level

About You

You are a seasoned Senior Project Manager with deep experience in warehouse or logistics environments and a proven track record delivering complex infrastructure and automation projects.

Essential Experience:

  • Strong background in supply chain and logistics environments
  • Experience delivering hardware infrastructure and automation projects
  • Exposure to robotics implementation within warehouse environments
  • Proven vendor management and commercial negotiation skills
  • Ability to work on-site in an operational distribution centre
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities
