Senior Software Engineer - South Eastern Suburbs
Great opportunity for an experienced Senior Software Developer with Software Validation/System Validation experience to work at a purpose driven global life sciences company in the South Eastern Suburbs.
Role
Act as the primary link between the Australian and US subsidiaries, overseeing the Technology function, supporting existing systems, leading new software development and migration initiatives, and managing associated staff and project teams as required.
Required Experience
- 10+ years experience in a Software Engineer role
- Must have experience with VB (Visual Basic), VB.NET, ASP.NET, .NET, C# and SQL Server
- Must have some experience in Software Validation/System Validation, including system validation & verification and change management methodologies
- Must be able to work on-site 5 days a week
- Strong knowledge of technology strategy, solution architecture, and software development
- Understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance
- Strong project management skills, including experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Experience leading multi-functional IT teams and managing complex IT implementations and integrations
- Ability to collaborate with global stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives
Advantageous
- Experience within a regulated environment, owning requirements through build, testing, compliance, go-live, and adoption
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceutical, medical device, life sciences, healthcare, automotive, aerospace or similar
- Some knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks specific to medical devices, biotechnology or healthcare
- Experience with validated, GxP-regulated laboratory and quality systems (e.g. ELN/QMS/MES)
- Experience working in a global corporate environment with cross-regional collaboration
- Expertise in enterprise applications such as Salesforce, SharePoint, SQL Server, Visual Studio, VB, VB.NET, .NET, ASP.NET, C#, Mulesoft and MS Access
- Exposure to LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems) or other laboratory IT solutions
- Vendor management experience, including vendor selection and onboarding
