Our Software Engineers work with the latest technologies and apply industry best practices in order to deliver amazing outcomes to our Business. This role will report to the Engineering Practice Lead and work within one of our cross-functional Delivery Teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Senior Software Engineers to understand project requirements and design software solutions that effectively address those needs.
- Utilize modern programming languages to create, test, and maintain high-quality software applications
- Improve and maintain automation tests to ensure comprehensive coverage and software reliability
- Partner with other engineers to ensure that project requirements are met and that solutions are built effectively and efficiently
- Play an active role in achieving the team's objectives and successfully delivering on Challenges and Missions
- Engage in all Agile ceremonies, facilitating as needed to support smooth and effective team operations
- Identify areas for process enhancement and advocate for best practices to drive ongoing improvements
- Attend relevant conferences and in-house training sessions, and share acquired knowledge and insights with the team
Key Skills Required
- Tertiary qualifications in Technology or similar/relevant certifications
- Some experience developing in a modern software language C#/Java/Ruby etc
- Some experience in front-end development using a UI framework such as React Js and Next Js
- Some experience writing SQL / Stored procedures
- Strong problem solving, analytical thinking and teamwork skills
- Passion for Agile methodologies
- Passion about building quality software and getting into our customers' hands as fast as possible to facilitate learning
- Continuous improvement and learning mindset
Desired Skills (not essential)
- NextJs, React, Redux and TypeScript
- Gatsby and GraphQL
- C#, .Net Core, and MSSQL
- Azure DevOps and broader Azure Cloud services
