What You'll Do

• Design End-to-End Solutions: Craft application, data, integration and infrastructure architectures that meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business leads to gather requirements, then translate them into clear, documented solution designs.
• Architectural Alignment: Partner with enterprise architects to ensure all designs support long-term technology roadmaps and governance standards.
• Technical Leadership: Guide project teams through implementation, offering best-practice advice and conducting design reviews to manage risk.
• Technology Evaluation: Assess new tools and platforms, particularly cloud-native services, and recommend the optimal fit based on business needs.
• Documentation & Governance: Produce architecture diagrams, technical specifications and implementation guidelines; identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends (e.g., microservices, container orchestration, DevOps) to continually elevate solution quality.

What You'll Bring

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in IT roles, including 3 years as a solutions architect (or similar).
• Technical Breadth: Proven proficiency across applications, infrastructure, data integration and API design.
• Cloud Expertise: Hands-on work with AWS, Azure or equivalent platforms.
• DevOps Understanding: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Communication: Exceptional ability to distil complex concepts for diverse audiences and foster cross-functional collaboration.
